So my friend Suzan and I have decided that Fridays are going to be about our online dating communications. Be prepared for a little snark, a lot of sarcasm and no exposing of identities.
Okay, so why did I not respond to this message?
Well first off, the gentleman in question was much older, and unattractive to me. There needs to be some physical attraction there, in my opinion. Let’s face it, we all want to be with someone we’re physically attracted to!
The message. It’s not bad as far as online dating site mail goes. There are sentences, and questions! However, punctuation and spelling aside, the overall tone of this message feels a little oozy-sleazy. Pet names when I don’t know you is just not appealing. This guy stays a stranger from the beginning of the message to the end. And don’t try to make a deal with me.
So I passed on this message.
I’ll be putting mine up this afternoon. Ran out of time for blogging this morning. :/
I’m kind of proud that this guy managed to make a complete sentence with nouns and verbs and everything.
