Hello readers!
This news went up on Delilah Devlin’s facebook page and several of the other authors have shared it, but now it’s my turn! My short story, Once Upon a Time in Mukdahan was accepted into the Cleis Publishing anthology, Sex Objects. Woohoo! I’m going to be joining a bunch of other very awesome authors in this project to bring readers super hot alpha type men.
I know this is a short story and it’s hard to cram a lot into about 6,000 words, but I got to revisit Thailand and Laos in this story. In the vein of the theme of the anthology, it also features a hotter than you can handle hero. I don’t want to give away too much of the story, but it has human trafficking, a former man in uniform and a humanitarian that doesn’t know when to stop caring for others.
As always, I owe this book to the support of my critique partners: Suzan, Alice, Lea, Sophia, Carolyn, Rebekah, Jessica and Linda. You guys make me better each time, and I love ya for it.
I’ll post more information as soon as I know!
I am also included in the anthology, but I don’t even know if it’s out yet. (I understand that there won’t be a printed copy, which is disappointing). Do you have to buy an e-reader to find this book? It’s been so long since I submitted my story that I can’t even remember what it’s about!
Plus, payment–do you have any idea when that is happening? (I realize you’re not the editor; just curious).
Congratulations on being published.
Hi Tim! This anthology was later changed to a different name (High Octane Heroes) and released a few years ago. If you have any questions, please follow up with Delilah. 🙂
