Missy’s Sean Maxwell

I tried to look properly chastised as I wondered again why he preferred an unflattering military buzz cut. Sean was cute in a man-in-uniform sense, though I’d never seen him in anything but the requisite slacks and polo our store preferred.

This is how Mari views Sean Maxwell in her story, Two-Week Trial. What a difference a book can make. Though he doesn’t change a lot physically from one book to the next, he goes from the shadows to the spotlight. Next is how Megan views him in her book, Two Dates Max.

Lots of people hate Monday mornings, including one hot-as-hell general store manager with the best male ass I’ve ever seen.

And so begins Megan’s and Sean’s story. Megan and Mari aren’t so different from each other, but the way they each view Sean is miles apart. One respects him and feels he is her friend. The other wants to be able to feel him up whenever he is near. One lacks the confidence to go for who she truly desires. The other makes it more than obvious she wants Sean, to the point he accuses her of stalking him. They’re both modern women who view love and sex in different ways. I had a blast writing both. In different ways I can relate to both women. Blurb:

He loves me, he loves me not. He loves me…okay, the truth is he doesn’t really like me right now, but I have a plan to change his mind. I see the way he looks at me with heat in his eyes. Sean Maxwell might be a confirmed bachelor, but a taste of Ms. Megan Nettle is just what he needs to soften his hard exterior. And once I get him in my bed, he won’t want to leave. There’s nothing some hot lovin’ can’t fix.But my persistence backfires when he decides he’s too dangerous for little ol’ me. Something in his past is driving a wedge between us, and he’s determined to stay away. That’s not going to happen. This calls for some serious seduction. I’ll use those sparks between us to melt away his rule of two dates max.
