So my friend Suzan and I have decided that Fridays are going to be about our online dating communications. Be prepared for a little snark, a lot of sarcasm and no exposing of identities.
I thought this week I would show off a message I actually replied to for a change. I thought it would be interesting to change it up. So, here’s a message that actually got my attention.
Now, what sets this message apart for me? To be honest, I replied mostly because he mentions he’s also going to the Dropkick Murphys concert. That out of anything got my attention, because if I share a music interest with a guy, we could possibly have more in common. I like that he shows that he’s read my profile, not just from the concert mention, but also talking about traveling and our shared industry of occupation.
We actually chatted back and forth. I’ll be honest, I expected a date from this exchange, but I have yet to hear back from him. Sad, but hey, the conversation was good.
