Six Sentence Sunday: Kiss for a Cure

This week’s Six Sentences are from my science fiction holiday story that I’ll be submitting to Carina Press in the near future. For now, it’s still called Kiss for a Cure. This takes part in chapter one.

It was Cai’s turn to blink at her. “Galairian. I think you’re under the mistaken assumption I’m human. I hate to break it to you, but I’m not a slave. I’m your husband.”

“That’s silly. It would mean—”

Poor Jordan. She has no idea what’s happening to her…

This story should be off my desk this weekend and off to my critique partners. As much as I love it, I’m glad to see it go!
