Welcome back to Six sentence Sunday! Last week I shared the first six lines from my July release, Under His Skin. This book is part of the Ellora’s Cave Pricked series, and is the first book in what I hope will be a really cool series all about a team of tattoo artists. Check back for more information about the book and the rest of the series!
This week’s tatt’d man share includes scenic views and a nice accessory!
In last week’s share, our heroine, Pandora, has arrived at the hotel hosting a tattoo convention and she’s a little nervous.
“Hey.” Her coworker Autumn peeled away from watching a man getting his skull tattooed with thick, tribal lines, and fell in step with her. As usual, Autumn was dressed to the nines in a flirty pleated skirt and So Inked tank top. She looked more like an advertising model than a tattooer, but that was Autumn. It didn’t help that the industry was dominated by men.
“How ya feeling?” She popped her gum and twirled her obscenely long, platinum-blonde hair around a finger.
And that’s the share this week.
You can pre-order Under His Skin at Amazon and Barnes & Noble, or go pick it up at Ellora’s Cave on July 20th.
A woman who doesn’t believe she deserves love…
Toe-curling kisses and enough sex to fill a weekend were all Pandora wanted from a fling with her teenage crush. She’s never forgotten how he played the knight in shining armor to her damsel in distress. She’s ready to say thank you in several naughty ways, so long as she can walk away when it’s over with her heart intact.
A man moving on from tragedy…
Brian has no intention of allowing the feisty tattoo artist to leave him after one taste. He hasn’t had enough of her inked curves. The packaging might have changed, but Pandy is the woman he hasn’t been able to excise from his memory. He’s ready to put together a new life, one that includes her. But he’s not the only one vying for her attention. Someone else wants her, dead or alive.

I have a great sense of the scene around her, well done. An industry dominated by men, well that can certainly provide some lovely tension and story. Looking forward to reading this one.

Love that guy in the pic. Where do I get one?
I guess I didn’t realize last week that Pandora is the tattoo artist. I was thinking she was there to get a tattoo. Very cool!

Well done six. Last week I could smell the ink, this week I can hear the gum popping and see the dude getting the tribal on his bald head. Great job.

Ah, Autumn. Every girl needs at least one friend who makes her feel like a pit pony. 🙂

Oh, don’t you HATE being the FRIEND of the gorgeous one that gets all the looks and attention? I am so glad I’m off the market, because those days in the singles bars with all my much better looking friends was kind of a bummer, LOL! (Of course, you probably ARE the gorgeous one that shines brighter than all your friends ;)) Loved the six, lovin’ this story!!
