Today I’m taking part in a tagging meme. Annie Nicholas is the culprit here who slapped me with a Lucky 7 challenge. She challenges me to share seven lines from page seventy seven of my book. I gave her the option of getting a snippet from Kiss for a Cure or my second tattoo book, The Harder He Falls. She chose Kiss for a Cure. So, here is my contribution…
The fabric between them dampened his awareness of her, but not enough he couldn’t pick up on the flutter of nerves.
“I know. But it’s, difficult, for me to think like you do.” He smiled to soften his words. He plucked the syringe from her palm and looked at the clear liquid inside. It was an innocent gesture, a solution, in dire circumstances, could save his people. “It’s safe?”
And there you have it. A little bit taken out of context.
