You and Mario are so cute! I can really tell who rules is in that house! The same creature that rules in my house, and it isn’t me. Dusty, my fur baby, likes when Mario visits. She is right up here with me watching. 😉 You have such a wonderful attitude about scrapping a book and starting over. I can’t wait to read it because I know it will be even better. Thank you. Keep on keeping on. You can do it.

Mario totally rules, and we all know it. My boyfriend likes to pretend he’s really in charge, but I just laugh.

The story I started out wanting to tell would have been an emotional, very dark 100K book. Easy. And while I think those themes are valid and represent a real slice of humanity, where it was going might not have resonated with romance readers as much as kink readers. There’s a very narrow distinction there in my head that might not be anywhere else. Regardless, it just makes more sense to re-start it and focus on the reunion and the positive aspects of healing old wounds. Bound Memories will be out this fall as part of the Hot Ink anthology from Fated Desires. It’s a prequel to the next Bayou Bound novel that features Remy, who was briefly in Duty Bound, and is the brother of the heroine in Bound Memories.
