On this day of thanks, I’m grateful for my family that has supported me. My friends who have encouraged me. And the readers who have ultimately made my dreams reality because a few of you have bought my books. Two years ago I would have never expected to be where I am now, and I’m so very thankful I didn’t know. I might have run away. I wasn’t ready to know how far this gig would take me then, and while I’m not sure I have the skills I’m not about to run away from the opportunity coming my way.
Here’s hoping you’re having, or had, a lovely Thanksgiving. I’m off to cook my brisket and everything else now. It’s not a lot, but I’ve become so spoiled doing stir fry all the time. Cooking hardly takes any time at all when you’re doing that.
And no, I really don’t look like Betty Crocker today, even though I feel like it. I’m rocking the sweat pants! That red dress has no give to it at all!!
Happy Thanksgiving, my readers.
