#ROW80 is A Round of Words in 80 Days. It’s a quarterly writing challenge where you define your personal goals and blog each week about your progress. It’s made to be flexible and allow for tweaking.
It’s challenge time again.
I thrive on goal setting and making lists, so ROW 80 is like a weekly Christmas present to myself. Making these posts also helps keep me accountable and rolling forward with what I’m doing. No matter what you’re doing, be that writing, crafting, working, we all have to figure out what makes the day and projects move a little faster, and for me it’s getting lists made and things accomplished.
Last round I had some simple goals, finish a project and work on another. It became a crazy train ride of epic proportions that yielded two books but little blogging. All in all, it was a supremely successful round for me.
This time I want to keep it super simple. Like, to the point of not even needing a bullet list, just a single line:
Finish So Inked #3.
If I stick to my calendar (HA!) I should finish this draft of So Inked #3 and edit it before the close of the round. If I can do that, I will be beyond happy.
So Inked #2, The Harder He Falls, releases in a few short weeks. With that comes the promo circus, which this time around is going to be very full, with lots going on. I’m looking at about 20+ blogs and a handful of reviews. I’m beyond thrilled with the reception of this book, but that many blogs are hard to make happen. I’ll be devoting time each day to writing blogs and getting a jump start on the tour.
There’s some more things in the pipeline I can’t talk about yet, but suffice to say, after the emails I’ve been sending back and forth this morning, it’s going to be a very exciting year. I’m so beyond excited about things that are in the works!
I’m going to be working on some unique promo items in the near future. I’m thinking I might try my hand at candle making. How many of you think I’m going to end up making a mess playing with the candles?
How about you? What’s got you excited?
Nothing wrong with a single-line-goal. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate but that’s what makes life interesting. 😀 Good luck with your goal and your release!

Your energy and that one simple goal promise you WILL get a lot done in the coming round. I’m seeing lots of goals here, so by just listing one, that emphasizes the priority of the writing. The title is intriguing. May the writing go well, so well you’ll be dancing through all those promo activities.
