#ROW80 is A Round of Words in 80 Days. It’s a quarterly writing challenge where you define your personal goals and blog each week about your progress. It’s made to be flexible and allow for tweaking.
I had all intentions of doing two check-in’s a week, and I’ve gone down to one! Okay, so I got busy, mostly with the writing stuff, so I feel like it’s okay.
For this round of #ROW80, I have a single goal, and that is to finish So Inked #3, His Marriage Bargain. Last night I crossed over the 90K mark, and I think I’m getting close to completing this draft. It’s such a relief to say that, and I honestly believe I might hit that goal a week early. And that would be a huge ego boost! Of course there are scenes that will need to be added, things worked on, but it’s all fixable. I’m an odd duck who actually enjoys the revision process.
The Ink Me Tour is growing to a close. I think I have three more blogs set up for it, and then I get a mini break of like, a whole weekend, before I have a handful of blogs for the High Octane Heroes tour. I’m already setting up my December tour for the release of How Zombies Stole Christmas. It’s a lot to do, but I’m moving forward and I’m excited about things. I’ll admit, blogging and promo aren’t my favorite part of the process, but I do it reasonably well, so I’ve got to stick with it. I feel it’s something I can do.
This is super short! But I have words to write!
My favorite part of the process is revisions. It didn’t start out being my favorite, but over time it’s evolved to be that for me. What’s your favorite?
Sydney, way to go on the writing progress! I think doing one check-in a week so you can keep going with your writing is a great choice. Hurray for good priorities! Keep up the great work–looking forward to you reporting that you’ve reached the end.
