Okay, so I’ve been doing this NaNoWriMo thing for about a week. It’s not my first time in this boat, but this is the hardest. And it’s not because of the story I’m writing or anything, it’s because I’ve been moving! But I’ll talk about that later this week.
So far I’ve written roughly 13.5K, mostly on one project I’ve been jonesing to write. I haven’t been able to host or attend any write in’s, but I have stuff planned for the upcoming weeks. Things seem to be a lot more quiet than they have been in years past, but maybe that has something to do with the site launching later and the change to rails. Or maybe there’s some other reason I haven’t put my finger on yet.
What I have written has been good, I think. I’ve been doing snippets. Probably more than anyone cares to know right now, since it’s so very rough. I’ve met some fun people, had some interesting conversations and I’m already falling behind watching all the fun conversations sprouting up.
